Jan Melssen has uncovered some massive content concerning Netherlands, even from the time they boarded their Ferry & left their departure port plus other teams which will slowly be added, a start has been made!

That very vessel, after the Prinses Juliana (1) and sister vessel were sunk in WW1 within days of each other, another pair were built in Holland & Prinses Juliana (2) kept the Harwich Flushing Vlessingen Ferry Service in operation after 1920/1922, read on to see the loading on a historic occasion.

W Wijlaard left, the 100 DKW Rider & right J C Verkerke who rode the 125 Eysink, holding court in transit, adventures ahead.  Mention Eysink to a Brit or lots of European or USA enthusiasts & they usually have a furrowed brow after hearing the name, Eysink initially produced cars from very early 1900 theirventure to motorcycles production commenced in mid to late 1920's later the pre WW2 machinery was powered by Villiers with larger machinery using 4 stroke Rudge Python Motors plus JAP, ( J & A Prestwich not Oriental Products)

Jaap Fijma has arrived at Llandrindod Wells, no need to enquire where!, so very much appreciated as well since the Rock Park Hotel was demolished & disappeared entirely

Made it to Rock Park Hotel Llandrindod Wells, one Dutch Vase B team party of their Netherlands expedition!, centre machine 106 is a rare pic of an 350 Eysink with D Renooy astride it, to his right is  63 Jaap E Fijma & his 500 Ariel with to the left 122 F H Meierdres with his 500 Ariel

Rasmussen, the chap establishedMotorenwerke Rasmussen in Zschopau, Germany in 1906, Motorcycles started in 1921 & by 1928 the wonderful motors produced amounted to 65000, 60 makers using the power unit pre WW2 saw Audi, Wanderer & Horch combined with them to become Auto Union in the pre WW2 1930's. Post WW2 saw Victoria, Express added to establish Zweirad-Union later having Sachs takeover with added Hercules.
