1910 Uxbridge Event. From Dave Martin, (come to think of it Dave may have been there?) (OK a joke!)

Blue Bank Section of that 1911 Event, a great image located by Dave Martin.

E. Merrall & P. Shaw on 3 1/2 hp Panthers in 1911 Six Days Trial.

W. Munroe in ACU Trial 1911.

What a dapper owner and 976cc Brough Superior machine seen here in the Switzerland event in 1922 event, the largest machine ever entered by then.   Brough Superior Owners webmaster Bob Withers kindly advised me that HP 2122 is actually the maker's Trade Plate, the nattily dressed rider's name? George Brough.

Dave Martin discovered this nice item & sent the image along.

George no doubt had any smart additions to equipment, here is the 1922 ACU Badge after the 1921 'essentials" both thanks again to Dave Martin

Here you see the weigh-in at the 1922 ISDT which George passed over!, could anyone identify those folk in the pic please, we know th Swiss Trio of J Morand, A Robert & E Gex had taken the Trophy exactly as in 1921 plus 1920, a fine achievement

A famous lady name!, Marjorie Cottle with her Raleigh in the 1925 ISDT.

Who what where when & riding which?, an old press cutting needs info.

Bram Hartman's restored 1952 JAWA 350 Perak, many thanks to Reese Dengler of www.czechpoint.net for permission to use this

Not ISDT shot but the Maudes Trophy BSA Team worth viewing, with ISDT riders. Centre is Fred Rist, left is Norman Vanhouse & that looks like Brian Martin on the right?.

First day run measured 266.5 Miles, twice along a 133 miles course.  Tuesday to be a repetition of Monday's 240 Miles & Thursday 238.7 miles.   Nothing need be printed, I saw this for sale on ebay! & nabbed the image for all to enjoy, this year was Spindleruv Mlyn not the 1855 shoemaking location of Gottwaldow.. Three Australian Teams entered, inc. Les Fisher from Sydney on a 125 MZ, J Rock & Tim Gibbes had 250 Jawas, Birmingham MCC represented by A W Glassbrook (BSA), J S Oliver (BSA) & E D Chilton from Bicester mounted on a 650 Triumph.  My old late friend Roger Maughling doubled as Competitor & Journalist riding plus reporting on a 250 Villiers powered DMW.  First away into a wet dawn after a 5.30 assmbly to the start time went Italy's No1 Trophy Teamster Flavio Montesi

Spindleruv Mlyn, a sea of canvas covered workshops immediately dubbed Tent Town in 1957 ISDT Saturday was the start Day & here we see Saturdays preps. where all admin, logistics plus fuels oils & supporting concerns operated behind the Iron Curtain!, the 32nd in the series of events under the Aegis Of Ustredni Automotoklub C.S.R. this was Cold War time when no actual Official British Teams took Part

Busy day Saturday, Paddock activity sees JAWA Mechanics ensure Rumanian machines are in tip top fettle.

Location, Tent Town?, Arthur Williams believes left is Les Archer & 160 is David Miles before he started riding BSA Gold Stars. well spotted Arthur (darn site better than me at it).

Anything known is as this went online initially?  AHHHH, Frazer solves the puzzle delightfully too:-

Your picture of the 1951 ISDT 500cc AJS twin in your assorted ISDT pictures was owned by me from 1973 until I sold it in 2000 to a collector from Oxfordshire.
I wanted an ex-ISDT bike but couldn't find anything. Then we set upon an unnumbered AMC singles trials frame with fittings for a twin engine. We tentatively identified it was one of the '51 works bikes (later confirmed to the late Bob Currie by a rider)and Walter Green of Barnsley, probably the best restorer of his day, spend a year rebuilding it to six day spec. It worked beautifully and carried me to trials etc for over 20 years until anno domini (me, not the AJS) suggested I find someone who would use it more frequently.
Any more details needed? email me.   BIG THANKS TO FRAZER WRIGHT.
